InformationCanine Primary Cells-Derived from Mongrel Dog
Cell Biologics provides custom services to our customers upon request. On request, we will isolate cells of any description from specific organs or tissues (any animal or human tissues) designated by our customers.
Canine Primary Cells from Cell Biologics are isolated from aorta of Mongrel Dog. Canine Primary Aortic Endothelial Cells are grown in T25 tissue culture flasks pre-coated with gelatin-based coating solution for 2 min and incubated in Cell Biologic's Culture Complete Growth Medium generally for 3-7 days. Cultures are then expanded. Prior to shipping, cells at passage 3 are detached from flasks and immediately cryo-preserved in vials. Each vial contains at least 0.5x106 cells per ml and are delivered frozen. The method we use to isolate primary endothelial cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods.

For example, we are well versed in isolating endothelial cells and epithelial cells from animals (wild-type and knock-out murine strains, rat strains) from any desired tissue. Customer may ship to Cell Biologics either the already excised tissues or live mice or rats, and we will isolate the desired cell type and return a vial to Customer containing the prepared cells ready to use.
