Research Associate/Scientists in Stem Cell Biology

Senior Stem Cell Specialist position is available immediately in the area of hematopoietic stem cells. Candidate must have a PhD or MD/PhD degree with a strong research background in cell biology including primary cell culture techniques and/or molecular biology including designing and performing experiments involving real time PCR, gene silencing (shRNA), viral transduction to primary cell, etc. Research areas in the laboratory include ex vivo expansion of umbilical cord blood stem cells for potential therapeutic application, role of epigenetic modifications in the alteration of normal and disease stem cell fates and animal models. The fellow will be responsible for the differentiation of somatic cells from healthy and diseased tissue (including cord blood) to specific lineages and developing organoids. This person is expected to master the differentiation methods, define customer specifications and process customer orders. The individual will need outstanding communication skills and be capable of maintaining effective relationships with suppliers, operational staff, sales/marketing/business development, customer service, and distributors. Candidates having up to two years of post-doctoral experience are encouraged to apply. Ability to learn new research technologies, work independently and as part of a team is required. Knowledge of hematology and stem cell biology and strong communication skills is advantageous. 


Senior Stem Cell Specialist in Stem Cell Biology and Cell Differentiation
To develop and generate stem cell lines with precise genome modifications using genome editing methods. This is a hands-on lab-based role at the forefront of the Genome Editing technology and/or induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) technology with a focus on effective delivery, troubleshooting and putting ideas into action.
Provides support, supervision and coaching to scientists, ensuring that methods run efficiently and correctly, developing and guiding the set-up of new methodologies; Extensive hands-on animal model/iPS cell line generation experience; Experience culturing different mammalian cell types including human iPSCs, ESCs and primary cells; Strong molecular biology skills including DNA, PCR and RNA isolation and molecular cloning skills; Ability to work independently in designing and analyzing experimental procedures and solving any problems associated with experiments.

Salary will be competitive with a competitive benefits package, depending on previous publications and experience.

Education: B.S. or M.S. degree, preferably in a life science discipline or related area

Cell Culture Specialist (40 hours per week)

The Cell Culture Specialist will report to the Chief Scientist and Product Specialist. This person will be responsible for the culture of different types of cells from healthy and diseased tissue (including cord blood). He/ She is expected to master all cell culture methods, define customer specifications and process customer orders, along with providing Technical Support to customers over the phone and email. The individual will need to be capable of maintaining good relationships with suppliers, operational staff, sales/marketing/business development, customer service, and distributors.

Education: B.S. or M.S. degree, preferably in a life science discipline or related area


Marketing Specialist (40 hours per week)

The Marketing Specialist will work with our Chief Scientist and report to the Company President. This person will be responsible for sales/marketing/business development, customer service, and distributor relations. This individual will also serve as the point of contact for product and customer issues and be responsible for resolving customer issues as quickly and comprehensively as possible.

As a client-centered position, he/she must have strong customer, interpersonal and communications skills, as well as a good sense of organization. The Marketing Specialist must be diplomatic and professional, sensitive to the client's needs and able to prioritize the many responsibilities/ deadlines of the job. We are looking for a self-starter with the ability to work independently within approved company and department structure. Candidates need to be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and other computer tools.
